Re: directdraw compatibility

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

Try reading over this, it's only for Windows 98 and Vista () but it should get you on the right track.

Hi Mcann07,

Can you take a Screenshot of GPUZ so we can check your Graphics card settings and Driver?

Re: directdraw compatibility

mcann07,

GPU-Z is a program that gives you information about your GPU, aka Graphics Processing Unit, aka video card. You can download it from GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility

Re: directdraw compatibility

No worries - steve, aka dmex, is on his way south on a 400+ km trip, so he asked me to fill in for him with you.

Just to verify - when you downloaded, you found a file named
Code:
GPU-Z.0.2.5.exe
, correct? And when you ran that file it gives you an unknown architecture error? Did the message say anything else? Can you take a screen shot of the error message and post it here?

Re: directdraw compatibility

And you double clicked on it and this is what it gave you.

Can you give us detailed system specifications? Use a similar program called CPUID
