| Vista Ultimate x64 | Assassin's Creed on Vista x64 ? Hi, When I try to install Assassin's Creed, I get this error: ![]() I've contacted Ubisoft support, but they don't seem to be able to help. Is there a workaround for this error ? I've already tried installing it on a computer with Windows XP Pro x86, a cmd just popped up with no text and closed again. |

| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: Assassin's Creed on Vista x64 ? Try running the installation manually. The demo file is probably an autostart file and there may be a way around it. Look at the contents of your autostart file. Take a screen shot of the cd file open. Take a screen shot of the files inside the root directory of the disk. I dont think this is a virus. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: Assassin's Creed on Vista x64 ? Yours has the same file listings as mine does, with the exception of the setup.exe file - mine shows the InstallShield installer icon and has a Windows UAC Shield icon on it... |

| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: Assassin's Creed on Vista x64 ? Try taking it back for a replacement. If johns has different file listings it may be a slightly older version of the disk. Yours has a demoshield while johns has an installshield. |
