| Vista Ultimate 32-bit | CounterStrike 1.06 Main Screen Issue So, I finally managed to obtain the original CounterStrike (for old times' sake) and I installed it with no problems. However, this is what I get every time I open the program as the main screen: ![]() It SHOULD look like this: ![]() The first time I ran CS, Windows told me that my theme (running Aero) was reverted back to Vista Classic because a program wasn't compatible with certain features of my theme, or something of that sort. Also, Windows Firewall opened up and announced that it was blocking certain features of the game, but I ordered it to unblock and later added the entire program as an exception to its blocking. I have tried running the program as administrator, running in XP and 2000 compatability mode, running in 256 colors, disabling visual themes... no change. My system specs are... |
