Problems with Age of Empires: The Age of Kings

I have a problem and can't seem to figure it out. Hope I can get some help. I have the game Age of Empires II: The Age Of Kings. Well the problem is I had been having a problem with the graphics of the game being kinda pixeled and not crisp and I would have to restart the game to get it to work correctly, so I decided to Uninstall it and try installing it fresh to see if this would have any effect on the graphics. So when I uninstalled the game and installed it fresh I now have a bigger problem, it won't open at all. What I do get is a window with the following,
SafeDisc: Windows - No Disk
Exception Processing Message 0xc0000013 Parameters 0x7605023C 0x851C3BEC 0x7605023C 0x7605023C
Well I am totally lost and have no idea what to do. I have tried uninstalling it several times and reinstalling it again and again with no luck...can anyone help me out? I have never used a forum like this so I hope I am doing this in the correct mannor so if you can help me and you would like to one on one e-mail me at regor8542@yahoo.com
Thanks for anything and everything.
