Vista Tutorial - unable to run glide wrapper

i was playing around with diablo 2 and i thought i might download a glide wrapper (so i could use higher res). at first i thought i would use opengl, but that gave me crappy FPS (it hovered around 4 or 5), so i downloaded 'dgvoodoo' to wrap it to direct3D/directdraw, but i cant run it, it says 'dgvoodoo is set to work as a VDD. you cannot run serverprocesses'

i'm assuming vdd means virtual device driver.

i already have UAC turned off, and i tried running it as administrator, so i dont know what else to do,

and why cant the admin account run serverprocesses?
