When I start HoMM everything is okay until i start a game either in multi player or single player.
It begins to load and when it is done and about to begin a game it says. "This program has stopped working Windows will notify you if there is a solution".
My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
I'm not sure about the graphics and video cards though.

Alex;

Graphics and Video cards are the same thing. To check this out, do Personalization -> Display Settings and check out the monitor settings.

Now..

It may be a malware/adware. Here are some things I recommend you run.

AVG Free

CcLeaner (Run it daily/weekly)

Try System Restore if all else fails. IF System Restore fails... I'm at a lost.

I just got a new computer running vista home premium 64 bit and I'm having this exact problem, if the only solution is system restore, then it's broken out of the box.

I've tried compatibility mode (winXP sp2) and run as admin with same results, it dies switching from the game interface to the actual game (when you get the loading screen to start a map, it dies).

Any useful advice?
