| VIsta Home Basic 32bit | Flight Sim X installation problems Hey, I had a problem with my flight simulator x deluxe installation...it would give an error message related to sim.connect and then roll back the whole installation... in my old xp pc, i just had to rename the dll, manifest and catalog files found in DVD2 and put into the winSxS folder in Windows and the installation went well. In my vista pc, i did the same thing..but it didnt work. The SxS folder must have changed in vista (i found the catalog folder separately in vista). but i dont know how to rename the files and where to put them in to make the installation work. Please help... |
