| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Intense connection lagg when gaming? We are using an EVDO USB modem from Alltel it is a UTStarcom UM175. I used to be able to play like 2 or 3 games and be on messenger and internet with this at our current signal strength, but now when I even start one game I get INTENSE lagg. I got on WoW (World of Warcraft) and it went from 500 ping (normal is 250 - 600) to 7500ping. It isnt much better in other games either such as Combat Arms or RuneScape. When I close the game it continues to lag until I disconnect and re connect. My comp is Windows Home Premium 64bit, AMD Phenom Tripple core processor @ 2.1Ghz, 4GB DDR2 RAM, Integrated ATI Radeon HD3200 video (I plan on upgrading). |
