Civ 4 compatible?

hello,

despite the problems i'm getting with my new computer, (i may have to get it replaced: wait and see), I think Vista is causing some problems.

The reason why I'm in gaming section when normally I'm not, is cause i installed civilization 4 on my notebook. But one of the error messages you get when something has known compatibility issues comes up. I click run program and everything works expect for the options (game settings screen)

does anyone know why.

And please answer this question:

IS CIV 4 COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM? IF YOU NEED TO TAKE A LOOK AT MY SYSTEM SPECS, I HAVN'T WRITTEN IN EVERYTHING BUT U MITE GET AN IDEA OF MY NOTEBOOK

thanks

Re: Civ 4 compatible?

I had no problems playing Civ 4 on a Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Premium. Just make sure you update Civ.

Re: Civ 4 compatible?

I didn't have any problems running vanilla Civ4 or Beyond the Sword. I'd also recommend patching to the latest version. There are a couple threads over at www.vistareadygames.com concerning this - worth the read if you're having trouble.
