I keep getting cutscene freezes when i sometimes play the game. This doesnt happen all the time for some reason. But if it does, i run the game, the game will freeze 7 seconds in (this is even if i remove the intro movies, always 7 seconds no matter what) then ill load up a game & it will freeze for about 10 seconds, go to the loading screen, then the loading finishes the screen goes through a white transition (which is normal) but it will freeze again for about 10 seconds. The actual parts between the freezing like navigating menus is fine, however playing the game is a disaster, it freezes for a good 7 seconds whenever u kill anyone
The only thing i did recently was to reinstall using a disc with sp1 on it, still vista ultimate x64, but with bioshock installed. Those are the only two differences between now & before i reinstalled windows. Ive tried changing my nvidia drivers but that didnt help (now using latest)

Edit: I think i fixed it by uninstalling directx & reinstalling using latest dxwebsetup.exe
