| Vista Home Premium 32bit | World of warcraft patch problem Hi, when I try and open the world of warcraft program ( which takes you to the news page ) because I haven't downloaded the patches, down the bottom of the page it states "Downloading new patch" and shows it downloading up to 600kb. Now after it has dne this and should actually go to the download page, it stops, and the program stops. Now I have allowed the ports to be used, and also I have turned off the firewall while trying to do this. Re-installing does not help. Thanks ^^; |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: World of warcraft patch problem try not using the launcher. Browse to your wow folder and use the wow.exe instead of the launcher. That will load straight into the game, initiate the patch and then (hopefully) bring up the down loader. Other than that, try a mirror site....usually a lot faster. Such as here : Download: World of Warcraft 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 Patches - Big Download Blog |
