Hi Raiyne,
It happens that fieseler another member here knew a way to allow the latest DX Redist to reinstall just yesterday
If you type regedit into the start menu search box & open it then go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft Find & right click the 'DirectX' folder on the left pane & click export, save it as directxreg_backup or something. Then delete the DirectX folder (do not delete it without backing it up first) Now go to C:\windows\system32 & scroll through all the files until you find ones with names like d3d9.dll, d3d10.dll. The ones you need to look for specifically should be labelled d3dx9_xx.dll (where xx is a number) Now you need to delete all d3dx files from d3dx9_24.dll to d3dx10_39.dll. Dont worrry about deleting the directx10 files, they do come bundled in the installer Then use the directx end user installer to reinstall directx http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
Let us know how it turns out and give him a thanks here:
