Star Wars - Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight

Hi, I installed this game in my pc with the cd, and everything ran perfect, I started the game and there was the intro video, after it ended, the game crashed, and the following message appears (it's in portuguese) in the error window.

and the screen fades, and I come back to my desktop with the error. My Vista is 32bits I guess. Somebdoy help me, I love this game!

Hmmmm, my Portuguese is a little rusty but it appears to me that you are just having a compatibility issue. I loved this game as well but if I recall correctly this was a Windows 95 game so you may have to use that in your Windows Vista Option for the game... did you tried that?

Change the compatibilyty mode to Windows 95? I just tried that, it didn't worked, I tried win98 and all the others options, too. Thanks anyway, pal.

Perhaps the game is just to slow for the technology used now? I remember something like that happening to me before with an older game and I was told that my drivers were to fast for the game... I thought that the guy was just busting my nuts though.

As much as I loved that game and I have fond moments of it, I think I would hate it right now if I was to play it. More so when you have played games like Far Cry and Crysis with the expectacular graphics.

Got this game at home but not played it for years. Will attemt to give it a go on my machine and post back over the weekend.
