Vista - Please Help with game prob

How is it going, is it just me ,or is any one else having a problem trying to play Tombraider Underworld on their pc. I can play lots of games with no prob ,I think all my drivers are up to date I try to keep them updated every month so if anybody is having the same prob as me please let me know .My prob is when I start the game my screen goes black for a sec as normal, and then I get this message ,A problem caused the program to stop working blah /blah windows has to shut down this prog, so anybody out there please help if you can ,Thank You.

Hmmm, since you say your drivers are up to date, it can't be drivers but, are you using BETA drivers? Also, is your CPU or GPU overclock? Some games have issues with this. I have also noticed this when I try playing the games with a No-CD crack in order to avoid having the cd in the drive.

Sorry, that's all I have since your system is more than capable of playing this game. Only other think I can think of is that this is a badly optimized Console to PC Port but, since I don't play the game, I couldn't be sure.

Hi Thanks for the reply,My drivers are from ATI latest , I can play crysis on full everything at full whack so to speak but it will not open on my pc .I have uninstalled it a few times and re installed it but it makes no difference the window keeps telling me [windows has to close this prog blah blah ,I can play it on my old pc that has windows xp and a Nvidia Geforce 7300gt card so I dont know I am usually able to sort these kind of things out but on this occasion I cannot ,Thanks
