| Vista Home Premium x86 (32bit) | Force Games into Windowed Mode Hey guys, I like to play Age of Empires II/III and Empire Earth II However, I don't like playing in fullscreen. Is there anyway to force them as windowed mode? (I am aware that AOE 3 has that option built in unlike the others) Many Thanks. ![]() ~Akitakara |

| Microsoft® Windows Vista® Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: Force Games into Windowed Mode If you right click on one of the icons, like on your Desktop, go to Properties. There will be a "Target:" text box that should have the directory map of the actual install location... after the end of the default text, press Space twice and type "-w." This may not work for all games due to different "Argument Recognition" inputs from different Publishers. Diablo, Diablo 2, Warcraft - Warcraft 3, and Star Craft all become "Windowed" if you use the "-w" argument. Try it, it may work. |
