Vista - Need Help Running Battlefield Vietnam

i keep betting this error "Bfvietnam.exe has stopped working" and i dont know how to fix it i tryed updating it running it as admin and running it in XP SP2 mode


My PC Specs are:

Intel Core2 Duo @ 2.00GHz
nVidia 8600M GT
2 Gigs of RAM
Win Vista Home Basic 32Bit

Anything else?

Not sure what to tell you, not having any problems with it here. In fact I just re-installed the game after seeing your post; installed, updated and just finished playing for about 30 minutes error free.

You have the game fully patched (1.21)? Drivers all up to date (newest video driver from Dell is the 175.97)? When you installed the game did you let it install the DX 9 files it wanted to install? Based on the specs of your laptop it should be able to handle this game no problem.

Ive done everything but it wont work i contacted EA and they said it should be working perfectly... I can run all the other Battlefields perfectly but not this one...

What DirectX does the game need? i think its the directX

well i just tried that i dont know why it doesnt work i did everything correctly i just wish it would work

Maybe try a complete uninstall of the game and re-install it. To completely remove it you will need to go into the registry and remove the folders/keys for the game. You can find complete instructions here,

tried that and it didnt work i will probably never get to play
