Vista - desktop distorted after game ends. Help

I'm sorry to post something so stupid. I was playing a game and whenever the game loads the screen behind it gets distorted and the colors get a wacky. When the game ends the desktop returns usually. It's stuck like that, I'm on safe mode because that works. The screen gets so distorted whenever I start it, my mouse only moves about half the screen.

Without knowing your full PC specs if will be difficult to help you as we would be only assuming.

This usually happens when you are using an old driver or the incorrect drivers or corrupt drivers but it could very well be something else.

Yep, could be also to do with if you have a smaller power supply and the video card/s not getting enough power.

Go into the video option on the game and change it to the same as your desktop.
Also change the colour settings to the same as your desktop.
This will help run your game.
