Games+Vista Compatibility FIX

Age of Empires III with Vista

I can now play Fable: Lost Chapters and Age of Empires 3, but not Diablo 2. T-T
Any other games this helps with?

Re: Games+Vista Compatibility FIX

I think you can play Diablo 2 if you install Lord of Destruction Expansion Pack. I am running Vista Business and could not start stand alone Diablo 2 but after I have installed the expansion the problem was solved. You can also try installing the latest patches avaible on Blizzard Entertainment to see if that helps resolving the problem assuming you do not have the expansion. Good Luck

ive never had this problem whatsoever, and i play age of empires 3 all the time, if something is stopping working that means the executable doesnt have authority to run, so you right click the icon and run as administrator.

Do you have the WarChiefs expansion? I heard that it works if you have that expansion installed.

Thanks, TMM.

Re: Games+Vista Compatibility FIX

lol Guess some people are lucky. Or it could just be a patch.
This procedure helped my Morrowind GOTY problem. The YesToAll pop-up never showed while loading, thus MENTALLY preventing me from playing the game (Don't ask).
This could just be a back-up idea for any Vista gamming issues.
