Cs Source Problem with Vista

K soo whenever i enter a game in Cs : Source it lets me stay in for about 1 min then my monitor freezes and crashes to blue screen (error nvlddmkm.sys) or comp stays frozen.. i have to restart the hard way.. my specs are

HP Pavilion Elite m9340f
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 / 2.66 GHz
Chipset type-- Intel G33 Express
6 GB RAM
Hard drive 750 GB
OS-- Microsoft Windows Vista , Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition
Geforce 9500 GS

I have tried many solutions.. for instance turning off UAC, updating new drivers, changing video modes, etc..
If anyone has any advice on what i can do to fix this problem i would really appreciate it. THANK YOU

Re: Cs Source Problem with Vista

that is a driver issue, something must be either stopping the drivers from initiating properly or theres corruption on them, have you tried other games? preferrably not source engine based? even DirectX wouldnt go a miss if you havent already installed the directx files off the game installer.

Re: Cs Source Problem with Vista

to get in safe mode you hit "F8" before your OS start loading, and nvidia.com for the latest Geforce 9xxx serie drivers.
