Vista - download game error

Just recently whenever I try to download a game from anywhere, such as big fish games or hp games, I get the beginning strand downloaded, but then the game will not continue when clicked to download. It opens only a completely blank blue page when it should ask me if i want to install it. Can anyone help me with this problem? It only happens on my vista home premium 32 bit computer, other computers work. I have worked many hours on this and simply cannot get it right.
