Vista - Battlefield 2 Problems on Vista Home Premium 32bit

I'm trying to install battlefield 2 on my computer and everything goes fine with the installation except that at the very end of the third disk installation, when the loading bar is finished, the install wizard minimizes itself and doesn't do anything. I assume this would be the point at which an "installation complete" window would pop or something, but nothing, it just sits there minimized and I can't maximize it. I tried just using the task manager to stop the program but after doing so, I can't run Battlefield. Any suggestions?
