| Vista Ultimate x64 | X-Box 360 controller issue. So I have my computer and my X-Box in the same room, and every time I hold down the controller's Guide button my X-box 360 starts running and if I turn off my X-box 360 my controller of course powers down as well, so I have to unplug my X-Box 360 in order to get my controller to connect to my computer when I hold down my guide button, but of course this seems silly, can anyone offer some advise so I don't have to unplug my system to use my controller with Windows? |

| Vista Ultimate 64bit SP2/ | Re: X-Box 360 controller issue. Try hitting the little button on the controller and on the receiver other than that I wouldn't know what to do. |

To turn the pad off is a bit stupid, you need to take the battery off the back of the controller, if you want to connect it back to your 360, you need to turn the xbox back on and press the button on the front of your xbox to locate the pad and press the pad locate button. |
