Vista - gaming compatibility

im using vista home premium 32bit and it seems like i cant play some games i like. for instance gta, nfs, etc. why is tht so??
can anyone explain to me why?

any reason why they are not playing? errors? not loading?

well..there was nothing wrong when i installed the game to my lappy. bt when i tried to load it, the graphics doesnt show at the best performance..like it shatters n i see binary numbers n weird codes too

do you have a camera so you can take pictures when this happens? im not sure exactly what the issue is, is it a blue screen with about 5 error codes on it or is the game just crashing back to desktop?

well...i dont have the game on my lappy now coz i'd uninstall it. bt i can play simple games like worms or the sims...gta n nfs, however, is causing problems.
even the first version of nfs wont play on my lappy.
