Problem adding new textures for FSX default aircraft

A few months ago someone posted the exact problem I have:

I am running into a problem when trying to add a new paint scheme to the
default aircraft. I keep getting the following error message:

Cannot create the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight
Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\B737_800\aircraft.cfg file.

Make Sure that the path and file name are correct.

I am doing everything like the readme describes and get this message every
time. Is it something caused by Vista??? Please help.

The original poster found his or her answer on the forum somewhere and no one ever responded. I've searched the forums but have not located the answer to this question. Can someone help me out? Thanks much!
