| Vista Ultimate x64 | Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge: very slow gameplay on Vista x64 Hello, my new laptop is running Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 and my old games such as Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 and the addon, Yuri's Revenge, run very slowly. It is so slow that it is pretty much unplayable. Well, you can play it, but it's far away from fun. I have tried several compatibility options (Windows XP mode, deactivate visual design, run as admin...) but they didn't change anything. Does anyone in here play the game on x64 and can tell me his/her compatibility options? What else can I try? |
