Vista - Rainbow Six Vegas 2 trouble.

Whenever i play rainbow six. i glitch out.

i am running dual 9800 GT. Intel (R) Core(TM) Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
and Vista Home Premium 32-bit
i get like random lines. and if a teammate is on the turret and he is spraying,
i get the sound STUCK in my headset until the next checkpoint.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I don't know about the lines, but the stuck sound glitch is a known issue thats been around since the original Vegas and possibly even older R6 games.

I don't think there's actually a work around for it.

Now, being that Vegas 2 is just an expansion pack of Vegas 1 and this was a very poor & unoptimized console port, playing it on a PC is a crap shoot, some have more luck than others when it came to having problems/issues/bugs/glitches.

There were a few tweaks you could do to help alliviate some of the glitches, but again, the fix or band-aid seem to work randomly.

All you can do is make sure that you have the latest drivers for video and sound installed correctly

well i did update my drivers.
but it still happens

Unfortunately it's a limitation of the game and not drivers. It was even a problem on the 360 version (PS3 as well i believe).

I hate to say it, but it's something your probably going to have to live with

Here you will also read about all the complaints about the game and the lack of UBI's support for it.

This is not a problem on Vegas alone, this is a problem that started as far back as Rainbow Six Lockdown, then it got a hold of GRAW I & II, Vegas 1 & 2, Assasin's Creed and recently Far Cry 2.

UBI's way of porting these games to PC is shameful so, you get what you don't paid for!
