I've been playing it for a few days and it is no Crysis Warhead when it comes to graphics but it is pretty good.

Gonna have to take a look at this and see if its better than the first 3 FEAR titles.

Is anyone having issues with sound?

I use a bluetooth headset to play all my games and it works a treat, this demo, however, does not want to cooperate with it.

I have tested that I have sound by playing mp3 songs while on my desktop, I click on the game, it starts and the silence begins.

Any thoughts?

Playing w/o sounds takes the whole inmersion away, which renders the game... boring!

Graphics can not be as cool as Crysis or Warhead since you are inside buildings and such (have not been outside yet) but they are definately better than the predecesors, gameplay is smooth so far but again... sound is killing my fun.

Can you try without bluetooth? Also did you check in-game sound settings?

I think I know what the problem is... or might be.

I tried downloading the demo from two different sites, none of them allow me to use my download manager so I had to use direct download from firefox. Both times, WinRar showed some some of corruption in the files but I was able to install from the last download.

Aside from not being able to save and having to restart from the beginning, I now show a fatal error somewhere after I found the Sargeant and continue on... something tells me that there's where my problem lies.

I am going to try to download the demo from the office since I have a 6MB broadband compare to the crappy 1.5MB I use at home where I usually have issues downloading.

In game setting were of no use whatsoever since you can only change a few settings and I saw no Advance Sound Settings... possibly because of the corruption as well.

Is it me or does the game seems like a console port to PC? I say this because of the Square-Like-360-esque POV the game has. I have a GTX 260 and even after choosing Optimal Settings, the game was set at 960 x 600 res and I had to manually changed the screen to 1680 x 1050 which is my native res.
