Fraps 3FPS

Hello and Im glad U R reading my first post ever here.

Im running DooM3 and Worms 3D on Vista HP 32bit. When I start recording with fraps, it slows down to exactly 3FPS. It does NOT do the same with Crysis however. I didnt try other games yet, but what do U think may be the problem?

rather strange, i think it maybe older games that are the problem, i tried recording ultimate doom for windows 95 for proof i got it working on vista 64, and it slowed my framerate to 10fps but the framerate before recording was only 30, so it maybe something to do with newer versions of fraps.

Re: Fraps 3FPS

Hi,

I tried TrackMania United Forever v2.11.17sk and runs at ~50FPS. Those other games still at 3FPS.

BTW: I use Fraps 2.9.8

Re: Fraps 3FPS

I have no clue but I think that FRAPS can't read older games as it was made for newer games?

Also, if you played Crysis w/Fraps and it didn't do it, I think you shouldn't worry to much about it, although, I know I would be wanting to know why as well...

No much help here I guess

Re: Fraps 3FPS

Perhaps the Fraps you are using does not support Vista?

Re: Fraps 3FPS

Have you increased the frames it records at. Just manually set it to 100fps or something.
