Access denied

Just recently have been having a problem trying to update a .CFG for an online game i play on. Used to be able to change this file to my hearts content, but now it comes up with the following error message...

Any ideas anyone?

Re: Access denied

I used to get this with some game files when altering them, if I can remember rightly you need to:

right click the file and choose properties

then under group or usernames (I do them all, I don't think it matters) select each of them and click Edit

Then tick all the boxes in the allow column and finally click apply and wait, it may finish instantly or take a few minutes, usually it takes a few minutes if you do this procedure on a games main folder, as it has more files to go through

I hope this helps you
