| Vista HomePremium 32bit | World of Warcraft Install Problems I have just got a BRAND new computer (Dell XPS 630), and am attempting to install WoW from Scratch. I purchased a new set of disks, and when installing at 98% get the following error: The file "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft.temp\Data.temp\enUS.temp" could not be renamed to "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft.temp\Data.temp\enUS". (ConflictManager::ResolveConflicts/1) I have turned off UAC, and I am running from an administrator account. I have deleted all files in my temp accoount. I have also (following the intructions on the WoW support site) copied the contents of the CD to a new folder on the desktop. I have also tried installing it into C:\World of Warcraft (IE not into Program Files) - as advised on another forum. Nothing works. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: World of Warcraft Install Problems I've talked to several people that have had similar issues installing WotLK in Vista. Blizzard recommends installing to a "public" folder. Program Files it seems is NOT a public folder in Vista. Your best bet is to change the install path to "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft" and try again. |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: World of Warcraft Install Problems you need to take permissions of the program files folder guys, simple enough right click program files (x86) <-if your on vista 64 otherwise its program files, and go to properties and click on security tab, click on edit and continue the UAC prompt, click on your username or users, and give yourself full permission on all the checkboxes below, and click apply. wait until your permissions are done, click ok and exit, should install without any problems now. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: World of Warcraft Install Problems You might as well do as I suggested though, because when you install WotLK the installer will move it there anyways. (and it takes twice as long to install because of that) |
