| vista home premium 32bit | doom 2 vista resolution error I have big problems with screen resolution trying to play any of the doom's from the collectors edition on vista. no matter what size i have set it to be, or whether it is supposed to be window or full screen, the game always comes up in full screen as a small narrow monochrome picture at the edge with flickering around the edge of the screen. help! anyone know what it is or how to fix it? |

| vista home premium 32bit | Re: doom 2 vista resolution error thanks for the tip, it opens them and runs fine  apart from its very laggy...tryed turning down the resolution in the game and it freed it up a bit, but still pretty unbearable... i even closed all programs! any other tips per chance? |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: doom 2 vista resolution error Enable Windows Compatibility mode with Windows 98. Compatibility mode solved most of my problems of this kind. |
