Anyone play the HAWX demo? The detail on this game is simply amazing! I will be getting the game definately. Just want to know if anyone else has tried the demo. :)

I've played the demo and I wasn't very impressed; it's a decent game if you just want an arcade shooter. The graphics are nice...that's about it.

its quite good, reminds me of ace combat on ps2 (i know thats old) the graphics are very smooth on my rig, but one thing that really bothered me, the landscape just looks like google earth with building overlays stuck on top.
Gameplay is amazing though, ive recorded a vid already of me playing it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5awTI3zgDWk it may still be processing so just need to wait

Unfortunately for us, all the Devs houses are catering to the console kiddies and are making their games (even if rated M for Mature) more for eyecandy (awesome graphics) than gameplay.

UBI is the worse of them and their console to pc ports are extremely crappy... Vegas I & II, FC2.

I'll be checking the demo though, even if I am not a fan of flying sims... if I ever get my new rig working that is ;)

this looks like it was built for pc asta, its surprisingly smooth and graphically its got all the traits of a pc title, i think Ubisoft have done something right for once

I was an avid Ubi forum member for GRAW I & II + Vegas I & II but, if you go to their FC 2, Hawx & Endwar forums you will see that even the fanboys are a little restless.

Nonetheless, I will sure give the demo a loop... no pun intented! :p :D

it's just eye candy, Nice to look at, but will get boring fast. Unfortunately I wet my flight simm teeth on titles like Falcon 3.0, EF2000 and Falcon 4.0

Ultra detail to realism hooks you...
