| Windows 7 Home Premium x64 | Gaming Mice Hey Everyone! I am looking for a new gaming mouse, but I have no idea what to get. So far I have narrowed it down to a Logitech G5 or a Microsoft Sidewinder. I currently have a Logitech G7, however to get a new one is out of my price range. ($50-$70 Canadian). Any other suggestions out there? Leave a note of what you use personally as I am open to any opinions ![]() Thanks for your help, Extensa Last edited by Extensa; 03-07-2009 at 12:16 AM.. |

| Vista Ultimate SP2 x64 : Seven Ultimate x64 | Re: Gaming Mice It can also depend on your style : are you a claw gripper or a palm gripper? FPS Mouse Techniques 101 | pwnGamer Logitechs are more for palm grips and razers are for claw grips. If your a palm gripper, stick with the Gx series. Sidewinders are good, but the logitechs are more popular. If your a claw gripper, perhaps give one of the cheaper Razers a go. I'm a claw gripper and I've ordered a Razer lachesis, but the copperheads and deathadders have a very good rep as well. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Gaming Mice I would definitely go for the G5 you can now get it with to generic buttons, before it only had one. Or maybe the Roccat Kone, it is also really cool... MrNeeds: |

| Windows 7 Home Premium x64 | Re: Gaming Mice Thanks for the suggestions. BoredGunner - My G7 batteries are dying very quickly, and don't last through a long session of gaming anymore. I will probably end up going for the G5. Thanks for your help. More suggestions are welcome. UPDATE: After finding an awesome deal ($92 Off) I have purchased a Logitech G9. Thanks for the help everyone! |
