Vista - My vista will not let me play my online games

i have diablo 1, diablo 2, diablo 2's expansion, runes of magic, spore, and soldat. I have a very good internet connection every game is patched to its fullest extent but when i try to access internet with diablo one i get stuck at the connection screen. When i use diablo 2 same problem. When i open games that require internet ex. spore and runes of magic i cannot even open these i get the loading ring from a little bit it stops then nothing more will happen. I have tried disabling the firewall and following steps on the technical support for the games. If any one can help please do this is very annoying!
