Vista - doom 3 error

hi all i'm new here.now everytime i start doom 3 i get this

i have had problems with running old games on my vista mostly crashes
i checked my drivers,soundcards etc and there up to date but i might recheck in the meantime could you guys help?? thanks

i got it working i had to re-install the doom 3 update now it works fine no crashes so far seems like vista can handle this one :P
