| Vist Home Premium 32bit | Wow shortcut that wont delete After uninstalling world of warcraft, due to an error with a file path to it, I went to reinstall and i have a temp .lnk shortcut that contstantly appears on my desktop when the installation screen is up. However, when the screen is exited and i press f5 to update comp shortcuts, it dissapears. If i let the installation go all the way through, at the end, it gives me an error about the temp shortcut. I feel this is related to vista. Can anyone help me? -Dave |

| Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: Wow shortcut that wont delete I don't really understand what the problem is but, have you tried to uninstall the game again from the Control Panel and restarting the pc after that? Another suggestion would be to find the path of the file and delete it to see what it does. Do so only if you are sure that it belongs to the game and you don't need it anymore, otherwise, leave it alone... the alternative may not be pretty!  |
