Vista - Can you play Windows 95/98 games on Vista?

My son wants to play 102 dalmations Puppies to the rescue. Will it play on Vista premium?

Hi GreatNate,

In addition to what Chris has said, you might only be able to play these games (if you can) on the 32-bit version of Vista. This is because many old programs used a 16-bit installer routine, and such routines cannot be used on 64-bit systems, although they work perfectly OK on 32-bit ones.

The only way to know is to try. Some may work fine, some may work with errors and some may not work at all

If at all it does not work - Install Virtual PC and install what ever Operating system you what that works as if you have to operating system - Working in the system

Thanks Jerin, I will test this out as I have been jonesing to try some old games with my new build but I have Vista Ultimate x64 and I thought against it because of the reason that dwarf posted.
