Vista - cod4 resolution problem

hello i have a problem in cod4 when i load the game it works good in 800*600 resolution but if i go any higher i get lines going across the screen and the screen starts to blink like crazy i need help i made a video to show u my problem pleas

ElLocoMiami, w/o knowing your system specs (I know you showed some on the video but I am old and can't see very well ), all I can tell you it that it seems your video drivers need to be updated.

Sometimes sound drivers can cause a commotion in games so you should be looking into updating those as well.

As an option, you can go to your Device Manager and under Monitors, check and see if your Monitor is showned there and not just a Generic or Std PnP monitors. If the latter, then you need a 64 bit profile for it.

can i just ask you ello, what is the game client that runs when you open cod4 @ your highest resolution? that maybe trying to take control of the screen while at certain resolutions. try disabling it for a test and see if the issue remains.
