12 gb for a mod. Wholly mother of all mods 
Thats about 3 times the size of oblivion. Im sure its good but thats way to big for a mod, id expect Oblivion 2 to be smaller lol

It's because it also contains the addons AND the expansion!. Now factor in all the mods and texture updates and you can now see why its so large :D

I've always used the texture mod when I've installed Oblivion and even though it's a massive download, it's definitely worth it.

This is theft. Firstly those mods were created by multiple modders whose work has been stolen by this Pahncrd. Secondly it is illegal to distribute the Oblivion DLC's and Shivering Isles. I have reported this file to Bethesda directly.

The DLC's/expansion are contained within the file that is advertised and linked to in this thread. Not to mention the massive amounts of work that the OP is claiming as his own without giving due credit or adhering to the wishes of the many authors regarding their work.

According to the other forum, it's the truth. Obviously a lot of effort went into compiling all the mods together, but it's not that hard to add a line in a readme.txt file saying "not all these mods are mine. Thanks to the original authors etc"
Personally, I don't really care. I appreciate all the hard work that goes into these, regardless of who created what. I don't really see why you'd be so defensive....unless you're actually Pahncrd

Truthfully i'm defensive because i'm a good mate of his and how much work he's putting in to get it all to work . I'm hardly going to be Pahncrd when i'm also a mod Neilsouth on Rage3D lol. Also the fact that Pahncrd is in the states and i'm in the uk.
I just don't like Elena771's tone and it wouldn't take much for someone to get aggressive on rage3D. Which i will clamp down on anyway

My intent is not to throw insults but rather call out what amounts to theft.
The legalities and copywrite law violations of distributing Bethesda's pay content such as Shivering Isles.....aside. Although that in itself is bad enough.
Hundreds and often thousands of hours of work go into a mod. How do I know, because I am an Oblivion mod maker and my smaller mods took up to a year to create.
Authors write their readmes to express what they allow to be done with their work. Their custom created models and textures included. Most if not all put...
'do not combine in a mod compilation'. The reason why is because these authors tweak and fix and release patches and updates to their work. So mod compilations are outdated within a week and mod users are left with outdated, unfixed work.
So this leaves us....
DOWNLOADERS BEWARE!! The downloader is downloading outdated, unfixed work not supported by the original author. This will inevitably cause problems for them (oh it will!) and who will assist? Not Pahncrd, judging by his erm....loud, 'expressive' response to a person who asked for help on another forum.
Not to mention that Pahncrd did not create these mods and will have no idea how to fix anyway. These are complex mods with complex scripting, animations, models and textures. I have been modding for 5 years and I wouldn't know how to fix. All Pahncrd did was merge these mods probably using TES4Gecko.
Don't believe me, lets hear from one or two of the authors themselves...

You must always adher to the authors wishes as stated in the readme and in this case Pahncrd has basically said...'sod the actual authors' and is claiming he made all those mods. How long does it take to put in a quick credit? But anyone with any decency would respect these authors wishes that go beyond a quick credit and are in place not only for the author's protection but also for the benefit and protection of mod users.
Anyway I apologize to the site staff here, my intention was not to cause trouble but rather to state some of the facts here so that downloaders are not misinformed and are aware that they are using stolen work and so that Neil/Pahn knows that the actual authors are aware, as is Bethesda.
Lastly, having read a fair amount of these Pahncrd threads on other forums, I think it is quite a fair and logical assumption that Neil is in fact Pahncrd.
