Dark Forces 2 - Jedi Knight

I'm a enormous Star Wars fan as you can see from the alias. I've been trying to run this old Star Wars game (Dark Forces 2...) for a while. I've utilized both articles on this website including: Jedi knight dark forces 2 on vista x64 and Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2 black screen. I can now get the game to run all the way up until I actually get to play and then I recieve the message of "Video card may not have enough memory for this mode - try a lower setting. Restoring previous settings." Then after I click ok..."Error setting last valid display mode, please recheck display settings" Now I'm sure my video card can run this game, since it's only 12 years old. Can someone help me out, PLEASE?!?
