| Vista Ultimate x64 | Lower Your Ping Okay, so i was playing Left 4 Dead today and have had this annoying lagg for quite a bit. My graphics card Contributes but one problem is my Ping is normal 200+MS while playing Which gives me 20-100 FPS. So how would i go about lowering my ping. |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Lower Your Ping i found that it depends if you click on quick match or search, the ping varies with which server you are connected to, sometimes you are connected to a server thats steam powered and sometimes your connected to a dedicated team server, the dedicated servers are the ones that you may get best connection with, the steam servers are pap. |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Lower Your Ping im sticking to my previous statement, i play left4dead a lot, and i found that certain servers are terrible to play on, delays of upto 4 seconds on key presses. just choose custom match dedicated servers when you play and all your ping troubles will disappear. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Lower Your Ping Yeah i would have to agree, it would look to be the servers your connecting to, as the speed test is giving you a ping of 39, so just check the pings before connecting to a server. |
