Im lost and would like to get the best performance gamming for the stuck i buyed but without lowering my ram and ima be overcloking my cpu and ram

PS: I heard that windows xp server 2003 took up to 4 gb of ram but does anyone think i should change.

Re: Wat should i do for better gamming

I also like XP more than Vista, more so after all the problems with networking, etc, etc., 8GB's of 1066Mhz ram I don't want to waste. But I digress

I have Vista Ultimate x64 but more for regular or everyday use, honestly, I have it more for the wife than anything else. On the other partition, I have Windows 7 RC 7100 and so far, there is no game I can not play on it, I find it quicker than Vista and more stable.

Sure, it has its quirks but mostly, because it is different look and feel than what XP and or Vista are so I am still learning and understanding how to navigate thru it

Re: Wat should i do for better gamming

I would stay with Vista x64, i love it and would never go back to XP, i have no problems and i dont have a game that wont run on it, it you want to ramp things up a bit overclock your Cpu, i have a QX9650 and it does make a big difference. Just my two bobs worth.
