Vista - Common_mp.ff is different than server in COD5

Hello, I just bought Call Of Duty : World at War yesterday, installed it, and installed all the patches. My problem is, whenever I try to play multiplayer it says common_mp.ff is different that the server's.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

This file is found in the Zone > English folder in COD WaW.
If the file is corrupt then it wont let you in to a server.
Are you sure you are updated to the latest patch, and that the servers you are trying to connect to are not modded in any way, do you have downloads turned on ?.

Yes, I am sure. I downloaded the latest patch (1.5) I tried downloading and installing the patch again and said I had it installed. I also do have downloads turned on.

Hope this does the trick.
I would save the default one to another folder, just to be on the safe side.

I have been playing the game for about 15 minutes, and I noticed a couple things. First, I can't see my ammo. Second, I seem to die very fast.

Is that normal?

The dieing bit is, lol.
On some servers you can see your ammo, some you cant. Depends on if it's hard core or not. It's normal.

Ok, I was just thinking that how on COD4 it says it is hardcore team deathmatch that it would be the same on COD5

Some servers list as hardcore, some don't, you will soon get used to it, i save good servers in my favourites. Good fun though.
