| Vista Home premium 64 | Desktop Window Manager Crashes in game Hey guys Im new to this forum. I had a comp. built for me a couple weeks ago. I mainly play games on it. Every game i get CTD at seemingly random times. Looking in the Event Log there are 2 events right before the crash every time. - Event ID 9010 A request to disable the Desktop Window Manager was made by process (Fallout3.exe) -event ID 9013 The Desktop Window Manager was unable to start because composition was disabled by a running application This happens when I play Fallout 3, Prototype, SimCity 4 Deluxe, Sims 3, Wheelman, GTA 4, Godfather 2, and Company of Heroes ToV. I have searched google and cant find anything that fixes the problem. Does anyone have any ideas to resolve this? Thanks. |
