Is Crysis compatible with Vista 64?

I downloaded the Cyrsis demo, which worked on my XP machine in the past, yet Im getting some strange results with vista.

After i install it, i cant find it anywhere, its like its not installing even though it appears to install and i dont get any error messages.

There is nothing in my "all programs" or program files folder to indicate it even exists.

Ive reinstalled it mulitple times with the same results.

any ideas?

You rock! Yes, it was in there.

A couple strange things happening here though. I installed 'sniper elite demo' and it put the standard desktop shortcut and was listed under all programs, as XP used to do, so i expected the same with crysis. Also, when i did a file search for crysis, there was no mention of the games folder on the results list. There was no file found anywhere except the downloaded, compressed game before installation.

Im becoming more and more impressed with vista 64, but it is inconsistent

It does take a while to get used to Vista and we all had to learn.
Probably not a good idea to mock people who come here for help. ;)

It was simply a matter of it apparantly not installing correctly on my vista machine, where i have played the same demo previoulsy on an XP machine, so while on the surface it may appear to be a rather dumb question, coming from soemone who doesnt game much on their PC, it really wasnt that stupid when you think about it

I think the fact that Crysis is a 64 bit dedicated game and sniper elite is not has a lot to do with the fact that one is under the Games folder and the other on the Desktop. Of course, this is just speculations and I don't know for sure.

One thing is clear, I much rather have my games on the desktop than having to click on multiple things to get to them and don't get me started on the Search function on Vista... Arrrgghhh!
