Vista - Game client stopped working

Hi Folks have been having problems with a game Sacred 2 for quite a while

The patch for it includes a Phys X

I have updated my graph drivers Nvidia 8800

Also, has this game ever run smoothly or has it done this from the start, do other games run OK ?.

Yes the game worked ok up to the patch with the phyx then it overheated the graph card and game started crashing had the card checked out and no problems left it a few months then reinstalled the game and now have this prob have tried re installing and have updated graph drivers quite a few times

other games work ok have tried other sites but no one has a answer

Found this on another site which fixed the problem for that poster :

On the Sacred2 shortcut, right click, select Properties. Go to Compatibility tab, select "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose Win XP Service Pack 3 (or 2). Also check off the "Privilege Level" for run as administrator.
