Vista - The Godfather The Game (Vista x64)

Ok, I recently got The Godfather (The Game) for pc. It wouldn't (message appears - The godfather.exe has stopped working) and wouldn't run. I tried a few fixes (change movies to _movies, run as admin, compatibility set to xp sp2) and none of them worked. I'm wondering now if it just doesn't work on Vista Home Premium x64.

Any help on this?Or is the game jus not compatible with Vista x64 systems?

Hello Madandfrustrate,
Are all your drivers up to date, and is the game patched to the latest version ?.
I see that a lot of people have had trouble getting this to run on Vista, but it does run.
You could try a no cd patch and see if that helps

Thanks for the tip. All my drivers are up to date, I regularly scan for drivers with Driver Genius Pro 9.0 (Registered). I'm not sure about the game patch, but I'll search around. I was worried it wouldn't run on Vista 64 bit because everyone with 32 bit found some way to go around the problems, but none of the 64 users could...

Thanks alot, its working now! The no-cd patch seemed to do the trick!

hi, i got problem with windows vista 32 bit (home premium) ... i got no cd crack it runs till i have to chose my name

how should i fix it ? i rlly loved the game on XP but i cant play it now
