Hello knightslay2,
You should check to see if your PSU has proprietary connectors, as I thought most/all Dell PSU’s had proprietary connectors.
What is the size of your current PSU ?.

You will find that if you want to change your PSU you may have to get it from Dell, they fit their own type of connectors, (proprietary).
At 305V, i would suggest that a larger PSU is indeed needed, a 450V would give much better results, but i leave that to you.

How does the PSU proprietary connectors look like? Are they the 8 pin ones which is additional with your 24 pin?

You would need to check the Dell site, but i think, if not all, then most, of the connectors are Dells own.
From memory, the main power connector to the MB is Dells own, not sure about the rest, but if you check the compatibility of a new PSU before hand it will save you a lot of grief.

I just check my computer and there are no PSU proprietary connectors. So what should I with the existing one replaced by the new one?

Your good to go, here is a link for a PSU, I'm not recommending this particular one, but it's the sort of thing you should be looking for.
