uninstalling the sims3

i cant seem to uninstall the sims 3 off my computer. when i try i get this error any help?:

na, just uninstalling normally, from the add/remove programs

Hello monster528,
This is more common than you would think, have you tried to patch the game and had a failed install ?.
One cure seems to be, patch the game to latest patch and then try and un-install it.
If that does not work try this.

Hi, i tried to use the Revo uninstaller Pro to uninstall The Sims 3, and i got the same error I've been getting for a while now: An error [-5006: 0x80030005] has occured while running the setup.
it goes on to say if this error keeps popping up, i should contact EA...but so far they've been anything but helpful :( any suggestions?
