Fifa 10 problem

Hey all, i recently bought FIFA 10 and installed it today... i launched the game with no problem BUT its only when i got to the menu i encountered this problem were i can not select the option in the menu because it keeps scrolling through all the options... as if i am holding down the down arrow key on the keyboard.

Does anyone have any suggestion why this is happening... i have never encountered this problem before in any other game, it only happens to be FIFA 9 and 10?

Thank You.. look forward to you replies

Re: Fifa 10 problem

You did a great job of illustrating your problem. What if you play the game in XP compatibility mode?

Re: Fifa 10 problem

This has to be the demo version, right? Do you know of anyone else running it in Vista?

Just for the heck of it, make sure your mobo bios, video, and all other drivers are the latest greatest.

Re: Fifa 10 problem

Hello Prak06,
Sounds almost like a sticky key problem, but why just in that game, and on that menu, can you just check to see if any of the sticky key features are turned on.
You will need to look in the "Control Panel\Ease of Access Centre"
Take a look and post your results.

Re: Fifa 10 problem

Hi stoneys-nutz

I think the problem lies in the controller (PS2 Gamepad), that i have, when i disconnect it i find that the "Scrolling action" doesn't happen.

The "Scrolling action" (If you don't understand what i mean by that check the you tube video out in the above post ) happens throughout the game, where ever there is an option it will keep going down... not only on the menu page.

Here is a screeny of my sticky keys option

Re: Fifa 10 problem

I would uncheck them all, just to see what happens, but i suspect it's the controller , although you would think that it would do it in all games.
When the game is running unplug and reconnect the controller, that will sometimes reset the controller.
Also go in to the controller options/setup and see if it is behaving normally there.
